Hypnotherapy to Help with Problems

People have come to get help using hypnotherapy for all types of problems. Whenever the mind gets in the way of doing what you want to do, or being who you want to be, hypnotherapy can help.

By addressing the unconscious blocks and unconscious beliefs, hypnotherapy goes deep into the mind to make profound changes. Old fears give way to new adventures, and old bad habits to new calm feelings.

Mixing Hypnotherapy

When hypnotherapy is mixed with other effective methods, it magnifies the effects, and gets results much quicker. If you think about how long you've had your problem, you might think that, say, six months would be a quick solution. Yet most problems can be solved in much less time than that.

Mixing hypnotherapy with other mind skills, such as NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and EFT (emotional freedom technique), and effective skills such as coaching, the process is usually fun and fast.

Hypnotherapy and Health

Hypnosis doesn't cure illness (unless it's psychosomatic). However, hypnosis can help.

How does hypnosis help with health?

Using hypnotherapy, you change your mental state. This has many advantages. One that some of my clients have found particularly helpful is to become more aware of what their bodies need. So, they start to eat more healthily.

Doctors know that stress affects your immune system. So, just through the calming effects of hypnotherapy, your immune system can become more efficient.

Another is the use of hypnosis for the control of pain. When you have an intractable illness with chronic pain that the doctors can't help with, then hypnosis may be your only hope.

Finally, some illnesses have a physical cause but are made worse with stress. Examples are IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and certain types of migraines. Hypnosis is particularly good at relieving these.

Other Uses for Hypnosis

It's not just problems that hypnosis can help with. Even when things are going well, it's always great to be able to put some grease on the wheels and do things even better.

We don't consider a golfer to have a problem, yet an enthusiastic golfer would be keen to take any advantage. Whether it's hypnosis, NLP, or any other mental skill, every extra bit gives that little edge that helps take a sporting person to the next level. Heck, I use it to stretch myself at the gym.

Hypnotherapy and Business

Why would businesses want hypnosis?

Exactly as sportsmen and sportswomen would want to add an edge to their skills, so businesses need to enhance their processes and communications. Hypnosis – not necessarily hypnotherapy – mixed with coaching and NLP can make a powerful force. It can help reduce intra-staff tensions and improve communication. It can also help to get everyone agreeing on the goals and the methods to achieve them.

Self-Hypnosis

Using self-hypnosis means that you can go home, and over time take total control of your own mind. Self-hypnosis is a valuable and effective skill, which is why I teach it to all my clients.

Thought for the Moment

Every path may lead you to God, even the weird ones. Most of us are on a journey. We're looking for something, though we're not always sure what that is. The way is foggy much of the time. I suggest you slow down and follow some of the side roads that appear suddenly in the mist.
